You know what is better than that? The traffic that the site is contending with is only the select few who:

1. Are trying to register on the VERY first day
2. Have a job at which they can surf the internet and get away with it

Wait until the "after work" hours or the "after school" hours...that should be fun...

Yeah.. after waiting 4 hours last night trying to figure out why they weren't putting up the events... since nothing on the main site had listed the time and I had to find out in the forums... I thought... ooo.. this will be better then last year... because all the suckers will be at school and work.. har har.. I might have a chance at vampire reqium... or even ::gasp:: a RPGA event.... Ha.... god doesn't love me...

Well, the truth is that I was only going to register for one game. The rest of the stuff I wanted (notice I'm using past tense) were all seminars. And since most of them can hold 200 people, I might actually get into one or two, even if I have to wait until midnight tonight to get in.

I'm going to have a one-shot ready to run. And I've got a room at the Embassy Suites. So at the very least, I can DM a few sessions for interested folks. I hope in return I get to play in several!

God loves everyone. It's the son-of-a-bugbear that bought GenCon that is providing this high level of service. :\
