Never heard of it. Evernight is a fantasy themed browser based strategy game. Its been around for about 5 years. Its sorta like Risk with spells and monsters.

And I know for a fact they have the Evernight trademark.... Which should make those "Savage Worlds" guys nervous.

Whereas I have never heard of the computer game but I'm GM-ing Evernight for my Savage Worlds group! :)

I doubt they're nervous. They have copyrights on their stuff as well. So if there is a conflict, Pinnacle's lawyers or the Copyright Office is to blame for issuing conflicting rights, not Pinnacle.

i'm sure they're not.

one's an online computer strategy game and the other is a role-playing campaign book. they're totally different things, so each can hold the Evernight name in their respective genres and not be infringing on the other.

how's that going? i've read through the book and am interested in the concept of a "scripted campaign", but i wonder how it actually plays out in practice. how do you find it?

So far, so good. It's pretty early in the campaign still (Act I) but the players seem to be having fun. It's a small group (2 PCs) so they have their hands full enough just staying alive; even though I've toned down some of the encounters. I warned them ahead of time that Evernight was fairly linear, though. Most of the "scripting" is really in the transitions between adventures. Once the party is playing, how they approach their goal is pretty much up to them.
