Expedition To.... / Which Expedition do you want to see next?

Expedition to the Lost City.

Seconded, thirded, and fourthed. Paizo have released a few gems for the Lost City (stats for Zargon in Dragon #315, I think, and a recent module in Dungeon), but I would pay the big bucks for a full treatment.

I would like to see something new, preferably involving Spelljammer or Planescape.

But if it needs to be a remade adventure, I have always liked the Desert of Desolation series or an Expedition to the Isle of Dread.

Expedition to the Isle of Dread (although I think Dungeon has probably done this already)

Expedition to the Forbidden City (one of my favorite modules)

Expedition to the Aerie of the Slave Lords (classic adventure series would make a nice addition)

Expedition to the Isle of Dread!
Expedition to Saltmarsh!*
Expedition to the Tomb of Horrors!

*I'd like to see this build upon the DMG II material, presenting a full-fledged setting. They can even number it as a 'UK' in loving homage to the original setting.

Expedition to the Barrier Peaks

You know, quite a while back, I got a call from WotC, saying they'd like me to work on something called "Expedition to the Demonweb Pits." I'd never heard of any of the "Expedition" products yet, and so my immediate thought was, "They're combining Expedition to the Barrier Peaks and Queen of the Demonweb Pits? What? ...so let's see... you get on board the crashed starship* and somehow get it flying again, and fly it to the Abyss to fight Lolth! I'm so there!"

Then I discovered that that wasn't what they were doing at all. They were, of course, just using the name "Expedition to..." instead of "Return to..." Still a cool product, and it would have been fun to do, but I had no time to work on it, and had to tell them so.

But for that crazy idea with the starship flying to the Demonweb? I'd have made time somehow.

Sadly, there's an unofficial policy about not mixing SF with D&D** there nowadays, so nothing like this will probably happen. Oh well. I can still think about Jeff Dee illustrated mind flayers with blasters and jumpsuits on my own.

*Yeah, I know. It was just a part of a starship. And it's buried deep underground. Details, details...

**Even though there's plenty of precedent and game history of doing just that. The very first D&D adventure (Temple of the Frog in Blackmoor) mixed genres quite nicely.

The next one needs to be a BD&D module update. Borderlands is good, Isle of Dread is good (although there's probably less demand for it nowadays, thanks to Paizo), but Lost City, for my money, was the best of the BD&D line, even beating out the supremely trippy Castle Amber.

Expedition to the Lost City.
yeah, add me to the list of folks ready to plunk down some hard earned scratch for this gem. I'm getting happy just thinking about the idea for this one.
