Expedition To.... / Which Expedition do you want to see next?

I'm with Dark Psion and KingCrab: Expedition to the Desert of Desolation!

My choice has nothing to do with Oasis of the White Palm being pretty much the only classic module I have that is not Tome of Horrors or White Plume Mountain. Honest, ;) .

Does it have to be an Expedition to? I think given the options, the Return to books tended to be a little more even on the good side of things.

But....

White Plume Mountain
Castle Amber
Palace Silver Princess
Borderlands
In Search of Adventure

Somebody beat me to my first thought:

Expedition to the Forgotten Temple of Tharizdun.

Wonderful adventure! :)

But, there's always:

Expedition to Rahasia
Expedition to Pharoah's Tomb (I3)

And please, *nobody* ever do Expedition to Night's Dark Terror - it was bad enough the first time around. :)

Is the Lost City the adventure that introduced the grippli and the yuan-ti? Or am I thinking of a different adventure?
That's I1, Dwellers of the Forbidden City. And grippli weren't in it, it was the tasloi. Grippli came out in that monster flash card thing TSR did, along with obliviax moss and a few other monsters.

Lost City is B4, a ruined city in the desert, full of cultists and the sort of creepy stuff you get in sword and sorcery stories when civilizations haven't seen sunlight in generations.

Sadly, there's an unofficial policy about not mixing SF with D&D** there nowadays, so nothing like this will probably happen. Oh well. I can still think about Jeff Dee illustrated mind flayers with blasters and jumpsuits on my own.

See, it's always good when Monte says you're right. :)

It's too bad, though - I've had some great times with Barrier Peaks. I stole a bunch of stuff from it wholesale, and put it into a post-apoc game (especially the fitness androids that malfunctioned... I've used them about three times, I think).
