I agree, it looks great. I can't wait for it to be out! I've already started regressing it... ;)

We'll could you explain for the math challanged? I honestly don't know what you mean.

We had to use a d10,000 for the professions to maintain the incidence rate for the professions. Although if you roll randomly you have a 1/10,000 chance to get a magic merchant, we managed to keep the other % pretty much dead on.

You should have seen how fun it was to lay out that table! :)

Maybe it would have been easier to modify a dice rolling program to roll a d10,000.

Besides, exploiting kobolds really isn't fair to little critters.:D

This does look like a really sweet book. Thanks for the preview.

Thank you. I think there's almost no one out there who wouldn't find this book useful in some manner. DMs of course are the main group, but players will find the 60+pages of environmental, political, and social descriptions very helpful in role-playing.

I think fantasy fiction writers would find this book very useful.

Huh... i'd never thought of that, but it would probably help them as well. I'll have to look into marketing it towards that idea. Thanks for the suggestion!

This is a great book, I've read it about 3 times so far and the ideas just pour out of it. I'm really looking forward to seeing it as a finished product though. :D

You're welcome. There are a number of fiction writing forums and sites on the web. Maybe you could approach Writer's Digest Book Club or something like that.
