Explain Alien Covenant to me!

I feel, very strongly, that some mysteries are best left unexplained and to the audience’s imagination, especially in horror. Everything we learn about the Xenomorphs origins makes the films less scary.

We're of one mind. My first post in this thread back in 2024 pretty much says the same thing. Most of the time I don't think we need to go and fill in aspects of the story. We don't really need to know where the xenomorphs come from any more than we need to know where Han Solo got his name.
