Lokin nods with a smile, collecting some of the heavier pieces of armor and weaponry in his sack that no one else wants to carry.

"A good meal and a little rest sound like excellent ideas. Then we can spread out and explore some more. I'd rather collect the bodies into one remote place and search the other orcs for more goods. Maybe Kol and I can accomplish this while Kyle cooks?"

Lokin looks over at the dead dog for a moment with a sigh.

"And if Zurd needs a hand digging a grave or moving his friend. I'm more than happy to assist with this, as well."

Agreed, I could eat a whole orc myself....

He gingerly picks up Kurg and says...

I will take care of him Lokin, thanks though...

Zurd, intends to eat Kurg's heart as is custom, to draw his strength into his body so that he may live forever....

As they eat he may offer a smal portion to Lokin saying...

He was brave and strong Lokin, take him inside and those two traits will live with you forever....

[sblock] He will also remove the head of the chief and place it in a sack as well as flay the skin from the orc chieftains back and chest. He will do this alone...

[sblock]As for Kurg's remains he will burn him at the earliest opportunity perhaps asking Lokin to accompany him back to the orcs living quarters to have a place to do it. [/sblock]

 

[Lot]

Lokin looks at the bloody heart and he hesitates for a moment. Then, looking at Zurd, he smiles weakly and pulls out his dagger. Spearing the portion of heart, he plops it in his mouth and tries to swallow it, chewing as little as possible.

"Thanks. He...he was quite a fighter. I can hope to be more like him."

 

[orsal]

You load up and head for the kitchen, with thoughts of another great meal and/or of some much-desired rest in your heads.

[sblock=Lokin and Kol]You hear a faint wailing sound as you pass the main corridor (the one leading to the entrance). You had not heard this before.[/sblock]

Kol stops and cocks his head. "Hold to you hear that? Some type of moaning..."

 

[Lot]

Lokin stops moving, listening carefully.

"Yeah. What is that?"

Easing his bag of gear to the floor, Lokin slides his hand through the loosened shield straps and then tightens them. He then slowly draws his sword as quietly as possible. Lokin gestures to Zurd or whoever his closest holding a torch. If and when that person comes closer, he will whisper.

"Kol and I heard something down the main corridor. If you bring a light, we can check it out."

When Lokin gets his attention Zurd will look down the hall and see what he can see with his darkvision.

Honestly at this point I don't much care either set a good watch I say and let's get some sleep I feel drained....
