Realistically, I think extreme skill checks are basically supernatural.
In the same vein, higher level characters are almost innately supernatural. By the time a character has enough levels to perform extreme skills with +skill items and magical stat boosts, they'll have so many level derived things such as HP and saves that they could jump 200 ft into lava, climb out and then let 8 normal people CDG them. Then walk over and collect the money from the bet, limping slightly. That kind of durablity is basically impossible, yet it doesn't go away in an antimagic field either.
