One neat thing my party did was wonder if the statue of the praying woman was really a person turned to stone. They had just fought a gorgon and had an extra flesh to stone scroll. In the module it's just a statue but I felt it was a lot cooler to introduce an NPC from 1500 years ago from another continent. So far so good
