Which of the Complete books has the feat that gives faerie-blood ancestry and abilities to sorcerers? Was it Complete Arcane or Mage?

Complete Mage has fey heritage feats. And they're not just for sorcerors. Warlocks can get good mileage out of them too. I've even used them with a druid. :)

You might also check out Paizo's DCv1.

The Compendium has their own take on "Bloodline" feats that are pretty nice for any spontaneous arcane caster, similar to Cleric Domains. Bonus: they cover a wide variety of critter types- Fey, Draconic, Plant, Elemental, etc.

Dragon Compendium, Volume 1.

It had some "Bloodline" feats for sorcerers which work kinda like domains for clerics (choose an ancestry, gain a fixed extra spell known per spell level you can cast, and you are prohibited from learning some other spells: ie: Anarchic bloodline means you lose lawful spells from your spell list). They appeared originally in Dragon #311 and some more appeared in Dragon #325 and Dragon #335
