I'm pumped for that mode, although it is going to make it much harder.

There was a mod that added Hardcore mode for the PC. Exact same thing. Made things interesting at the very least.

About the binoculars I`m also kinda excited for those. I used to hate carrying a sniper rifle or magnum just to get a lay of the land.

Alas only Game, in the UK, is doing the Collector's edition, dman!
still getting it though, as Fallout 3 was one of best games I have ever played!
using FOOK2 mod makes it awesome sauce, hehe

I was told about Fallout 3 from a couple of friends and got it about a month ago. I'm having a ton of fun with it right now and because of that I've put New Vegas on pre-order (the regular not the collector's edition). Can't wait til it comes out, but then again I'm not done with F:3 yet so F:NV will be sitting on the shelf while I finish up F:3

Played a few minutes of it this morning before work (created a character and started walking around in the first town). In many ways it feels like FO3. Movement of my character feels kind of odd for some reason, can't put my finger on it but it might have something to do with the over-the-shoulder view just being a little different somehow.

I also played for a few minutes before work, and managed to get in a bit of combat. So far, I'm having fun with it.

Although apparently it locks up a lot on the Console versions.
