Familiar Familiars

That's an impressive piece of work, PS. I like that much, much better than a port of d20-style familiars. I feel like this gives more choice and variety and no two familiars are going to be the same. Useful and unique are requirements (imo) for a familiar and you've covered that quite nicely.

The idea that it could work together with a shaman tradition is just gravy to me.

Your comment on rituals being hooked to planar alignment puts me in mind of the old 2e Astrologer kit from the Sha'ir's Handbook...

I have updated the file.. also put it into the first post just to better track things.

This version I have fleshed out the idea and went over the stat-blocks in a pretty rough way. Please let me know how to improve, I am going to share this with my group at this point and see what they think
