Famous Last Words

Don't ask me how often our fighter started a fight with a natural 1... Against the boss monsters. In normal fights he was ok.

His sword was magical +2 and slowed the enemy. At a natural 1 though it hit him and slowed him. Snakesword.

Well. Everytime we would have needed him, he was in slow motion after the first hit :D

"OK, you pull that lever, I will hide for safety in that coridor we just went through."

I believe that was in "Feast of Goblyns."

Way back in 2 Ed. A one shot adventure:

I had made a fighter who dualwielded swords. He was 3rd level.

They were a small groupe on their way up a snowcovered mountainside. They followed a small road.

Suddenly a group of Wrogs stood in front of them (The DM was very inexperienced). My character, being the only fighter, decided to cut them of from the spellcasters (He was a nice guy).... Back then a "1" meant a critical fumble. I started of by rolling two 1's... For some reason my fighters swords went flying out of his hands, of the mountainside. I think his last word was... Oh yes. Can't say that here.

Mage PC: "This isn't really an old man out to give us useful information, its an evil minion of the dragon, no doubt a mage or cleric with a hat of disguise or change self spell!"

Me as old man: "What are you talking about?"

Other PC's: "Come on he's just a helpful old man, leave him alone..."

Mage PC: "Im warning you! Im going to kill you!"

Me as old man: *Sighs* "It seems you ahve seen through my shabby disguise..." *Casts slay living*

All PC's "Eh?..."

Mage PC: *While dieing after failing save* "Seeeee... Im always righ......."

Could've Been A Gaming Moment...

The Judge:"What does that do?"

Said 2 seconds before Buffy blasts him to oblivion with a rocket launcher...

In the FIRST D&D session I have played (a long time ago).

DM : "OK, now there be monsters! There are two small creatures called Kobolds, having daggers."
Player : "NO problem! My fighter have rolled 8 for HP! Let's go!"

The DM have rolled two 20s for attack rolls, and two 4s for damage rolls....

I think I have said these all:

Trap, what trap!

No way he'd throw a beholder at us. It must be a gas spore.

THere is only one more door.

WHattya mean "he cuts my head off"?

Soooo that's what metoer swarm does.

57 points of damage, huh? Well that puts me at -21.

Don't you just love Gort.

Actually, I do believe that it was Swuth - a long time party favourite.

Which sort of brings up the famours second-to-last line.

When asked what they were doing by the guards, the response was:

"Smoking swuth, [CENSORED]."
