There have been threads on favorite fantasy, usefull books etc, But nobody seem to have asked what your favourite Humerous fantasy book is.

Ill start with the hilarious: GRUNTS by Mary Gentle.

I love the 'Tough Guide to Fantasyland', a spoof of the 'Rough Guide' tourist books and a very useful index of fantasy cliches to use or avoid. Typical entry runs like:

Nunneries - When the Party Arrive, they will find the Nunnery has just been sacked by Evil Forces. The last remaining Nun will either provide details then Expire or (if Young and Pretty) will survive to Join the Party...
