Farscape - I finally watched the last episode

Well, as the title says - I watched the last episode.
(Well, actually, I watched the last 2 seasons over the course of the last few weeks - My personal Farscape Marathon)

The following text contains more or less random toughts and spoilers, but since most of you were already able to see it, this shouldn`t stop many reading. :)

It is sad that the series ended, especially with the "to be continued" ending, but somehow, you can accept the end a far better than with many other series.

We don`t have to worry about what will happen to Crichton and Aeryn - they are dead (well, they might not have been if there would have been a 5th season, but...). Sure, they didn`t "live happily everafter", but they died at least in love and with a smile on their lips (or was it a kiss, not sure about it...) .

Anyway, I wonder if anyone here knows if someone out there writes (official) Farscape books that are going to wrap up the end of the series, and to answer the last questions (who - and why - neutralized the two, will Chiana get her eyelight back, will Rygel finally be able to get his throne back?)

Remembering the episode where Crichton was in Coma and had his "comic visions", I might even be able to accept a comic (or anime? Or even more crazy - a new "Muppet"s show :) ) version of Farscape, though I would prefer to see the real actors, be it on TV or Movie.

When that script was written, and when the episode was filmed, the writers, actors, and producers did not yet know the show had been cancelled. They were only informed when the last day of filming for the season was finished. So, you can be pretty darned sure that they had a plan for dealing with Chriton and Aeryn's deaths.

At the moment, I believe they are actively trying to get a film produced to wrap up the series in a better way.

I knew that, and I thought so - the question is, will they be able to tell that story? Be it by comic, book, movie or even a mini series (it seems that Sci Fi likes the format, as far as I hear about it. I don`t live in the USA, which is the reason why I was forced to wait to get the last seasons on my Screen...)

Have you any hard data about a film? (I heard that the sets were already destroyed, so it seems unlikely to me)

There's no hard data to be had right now, one way or another. The sets being torn down are not really an indicator. They might make it easier for a miniseries or television movie, true. But for a full feature film, they might have chosen to build new sets anyway.
