O.K., and for the poor residents in France, like me, where (I think) Farscape hasn't been released...

What is Farscape (I suppose it's a TV sci-fi series)?
Where can I find mor einfo?
Are ther any website with info, photos and so on?

As far as I know, DVDs are available for the first 2 seasons in the UK. I'm not sure what Region France is, but you might be able to order them from Amazon UK.

Hmm, I think France and Germany do share the same DVD - Region, so I think the DVDs might be available. At least the series is shown in German TV (SAT.1 shows it. Currently)

FarScape is a great series... A bit... mad, sometimes (regarding the main character ), but I really like it. (Though I wonder if Saturday afternoon is the right time for it. I would show it to my kids, if I had some, but only if they were at least 12 years...)

Europe is Region 2 - I think we're up to box set 3.1&3.2 in the UK (each season is split into 5 box sets with 2 discs per set). Excellent transfers and with DD5.1 sound (rather than pro-logic when broadcast) . Plus they don't have the cuts that we get on the broadcast versions shown at 6pm.

Farscape was not mentioned at GAMA

As far as I know Farscape was not mentioned or previewed at GAMA as AEG focused on Spycraft.

In the early seasons there was sexual innuendo and even a blatant sexual reference every so often. In the latter seasons it's nothing but blatant sexual references at least 3-4 times an episode.

Deals with relationships realistically? Ha! Every one eventually gets someone . . . doesn't sound very realistic to me.

... and then just as quickly LOSES them for uncontrived reasons. Did you ever go to college? If so, did you live in a dorm? Hook-ups to the left, hook-ups to the right, and then just as quickly, break-ups.

I liked Zhaan in the beginning because she felt like I do about obsession with sex - it's disgusting, yet it's all the producers do with Farscape these days.

Sex is disgusting? Then I stand by my ad hominem.

Or is it OBSESSION with sex that's disgusting? In that case, YOU seem to be the one who's obsessed with it.

Incidentally, Zhaan's attitude has ALWAYS been that the (human?) body and sexuality aren't things to be shamed of. I could go back and quote you several places from Season 1 where she makes this clear, if I was so entitled.

Farscape may be a great show, but the one question i got to ask is: Where's the G vs. E roleplaying game!

Sounds like a possible Shadowchasers campaign. I do agree that G vs. E was a fun show.

As for those who think that there is too much sexual content in Farscape: don't you find it odd that it's "disgusting" when there is sexual content, but the violence in the show is apparently acceptable?

Personally, I love Farscape. The human beings are all about sex & violence. Where would we be without those two building blocks of civilization?

As for the Farscape RPG, I'll believe it when I see it.

Joy!! Finally I have found another living Human who agrees with me- Good v. Evil was the single best TV show of the past few years- beat Buffy, Angel, X-Files etc etc hands down, and they Cancelled it!!!!! Why do the good die young??...sorry, I just hate when the excellent, and often original shows like that end up dead after so little time- I'm surprised Farscape has lasted so long, but no less grateful for it.
