Favorite 3.5 adventure modules

My favorite 3.5 module is the Sunless Citadel. It's fun, easy to run, has a great background setting, and provides a wealth of spin-off opportunities. Plus, you gotta dig those twig blights. :)

I'm an old-timer - 1E was my first game, and HackMaster is still my core game system (without all the silly stuff), and I don't allow evil PCs, just so you know where I'm coming from.

My favorites are all Dungeon Crawl Classics by Goodman Games. Honestly. They don't assume anything about the world (making them portable), pretty much everything in the dungeon can be classified as "bad", and thus the enemy, and the GM is left to develop the interweaving plot line.

A close second is Race for Retribution by Bard's Tales, for many of the same reasons.

The only problem I have with both is that they seriously challenge players, meaning if you don't want them leveling every 1-2 sessions you have to halve XP awards.

Heh... I wouldn't have said a word if I hadn't started making my own list and then said to myself "is that the question?"

Has anyone released a 3.5 module?

If we're talking about 3.x, I'd go with the Bastion of Lost Souls and Return to the Temple of Elemental Evil. For sheer evil goodness (but not necessarily a lot of "sense") there was that four part series that ended up with PCs fighting Orcus, the Demon Prince of The Undead. That was lots of fun to read.

Sure.

I don't know if it's module format specifically you are looking for, but there's WLD, Adventure I, and Adventure II.

Necromancer has released several adventures since 3.5, though some of my favorites came just before 3.5. :]

Many of the Goodman Game dungeon crawl classics are 3.5, and some of the older ones have already been converted.

2 of the 3 Freeport modules have been released in 3.5 format IIRC. Black Sails was 3.5.

My favorite? World's Largest Dungeon.

However, there's some interesting competition coming down the pike. I'm interested in Mongoose's "Campaign in a Box" which releases this month, as well as the Shackled City adventure and Rappan Athuk Reloaded, due next spring.

Goodman Games, as Psion mentioned, also has a solid lineup of 3.5 adventures.
