Favorite D&D Class?

I play them all, for different reasons. I probably played more rangers and clerics than anything else single classed, but not out of any great love. And that will be completely skewed when we start looking at multiclassed PCs...and I play multiclassed PCs more than 75% of the time.

It's not something I plan for, but across games of all types most of my PCs tend to be charismatic warriors and leaders of men of various outlooks. In D&D that has included an Elven Ranger/Priest of Shaundakul who became a warden of a roving band of elves, a human warlord who was devoted to building cities in the name of Erathis (usually at sword point), and most recently Daravosi Salintar, a half elf bard (blade) who has everyone fooled into thinking he's a much better [and honest] warrior than he actually is.
