I am a Pelor guy, after all Johnny Cash sang a song in his Honor

You are my sunshine, my only sunshine
You make me happy when skies are gray
You'll never know dear, how much I love you
Please don't take my sunshine away

I have and use my own pantheon for my homebrew campaign setting of Orea. A few favorites inthere but they won't mean anything to anyone who doesn't look at my blog.

For, straight up, D&D published deities...hmmm, that's tough.

I'm a big fan of the demi-humans, so Yondalla and Corellon get big thumbs up.

Had a cool elfin ranger-cleric (in the late 1e/early 2e days) of Solonor Thelandira (elf god of hunting & archery from the 1e UA).

In Greyhawk I'm prone to Ehlonna...seeing a pattern yet?

Other than my own...that's about it.

I like Ehlonna, Greyhawk's disneyfied Artemis. Spring, unicorns, youth, cute animals, nature but not wilderness. Kind of the urban person's vision of nature or Green Party idol.

Yeah, sounds corny when described but I still like her.

As is usually the case with these things...the ones I make myself (and fantasy gods and religions--including those that eschew gods--are some of my favorite home brewing).

However, to be a good sport...Boccob and Zagyg for their ammorality and links to castle greyhawk, Orcus, for being one of the first unique and most iconic D&D beings and lord of the undead, making him very useful to the DM, Tharizdun, because of the role of played in my past campaigns--though I don't like all the revisions bolted on to his mythology. Speaking of which...

Cthulhu has to be the all time greatest "official" D&D deity

As for Asmodeus, we all know he is number 2...

Bahamut, the Platinum Dragon. He was deity of my first AD&D character (a Paladin) who was the second character I ever made.

For rollicking ooog times, Fharlanghn; but also maybe Oghma or Olidammara.
Their Celerity, Luck, and Trickery domains are useful. Fharlanghn also has Travel and Weather; he wanders the Prime Material plane, so there's a chance that some player characters might meet him.

None of my 4E characters worship any of those, of course. . . .

Very fond of the Traveler from Eberron. My last PC was a cleric of Kord that was a ton of fun.

I always wanted to do a campaign that was a bunch of Kord followers that wandered the uncivilized frontier, dispensing rough justice and doing the right thing in a lawless land. Kinda like a biker gang of heroes.
