The skies of the Abyss are all his. He doesn't have any real estate in the first layer that I know of Werner.

I could have sworn I saw that he ran the show on level numero uno. My (somewhat foggy) memory is telling me it's in the old 2e Manual of the Planes or maybe that bloodstone pass adventure where the party galavants around the abyss. Unfortunately I don't own either anymore.

Bah, Orcus just sounds "average" to me... demon prince of the undead. What are undead doing in the abyss by the way? Shouldn't outer planes be home to outsiders and the souls of deceased people? Undead should be only on the material plane.

I vote for Demogorgon. Although I don't like the baboon heads which sounds a little wonky to me... hyenas feels more appropriate. But the fact that Demogorgon is one and twice at the same time and hates it's own other self, is IMHO very appropriate to being a demon!

Attel Malagate was an alien, with unfathomable motivations.

Kokor Hekkus was either an alien or mad, or both. But Thamber was a construct of which any gamer would have to approve.

Viole Falushe was mad (erotomanic: which is pathetic even though it is creepy).

Howard Alan Treesong had the most complicated and amusing schemes. But I found that his multiple personalities made him less than fathomable as a character.

But Lens Larque was human and sane, and his ambitions were utterly fathomable in light of his background and circumstances. And his plotted revenge on those sanctimonious racist snobs the Methlen was utterly delicious!

So I think it has to be Lens Larque.
