Favorite Disney animated movie?

Maybe the cliffs were there back in the Jamestown days and eroded since, or more to the point of the movie, the savage white man developers came along and leveled the terrain, or a sand and gravel company used them for building roads.

Geez, next you'll be nitpicking that real racoons and hummingbirds don't act like they did in the movie. ;)

Thats right. The movie taught us all kinds of things like: white man bad, whitest white man good.

Hands down The Fox and the Hound is my favorite. Loved it as a kid and still manage to watch it at least once a year as an adult.

I'm surprised it took this long for someone to mention it. This is, hands down, my favorite Disney film. Seeing this helped form a lot of my opinions on how other people should be treated, given its obvious commentary on racism.

And that is the killer for me. I don't like talking animals, otherwise I would have mentioned Tarzan and Mulan.

I would attribute the talking animals to Pochahantas using medicine (most likely mushrooms or tobacco) off screen prior to the animals speaking.

Which is weird, because the raccoon, hummingbird and dog in Pocahontas don't utter a word. At all.

And in Mulan, only the mystical dragon speaks. Little Brother, Cree-Cree and Khan also do not talk.

As a sidenote, my favorite Disney villains are: Maleficent (Sleeping Beauty), Judge Claude Frollo (Hunchback of Notre Dame), Shan Yu (Mulan) and Scar (The Lion King). Evil to the core.

Snow White and the Seven Dwarves - I first saw it in the theater when I was five. Of the more recent ones I'll go with Toy Story II followed very closely by Mulan.

Favorite Disney animated movie? That's a tough one. I absolute hate most Disney live-action movies (PoC is an exception), I do like quite a bit of the animated ones. I'll name a few of the top movies: Lion King, Heracules, Aladdin, and Emperor's New Groove. For CGI, Monsters Inc and Incredibles (honorable mention to Finding Nemo).

I so need to watch Spelljammer... er, I mean, Treasure Planet.

I rather enjoyed Treasure Planet. I have to admit that I did not like that robot at all. The good professor was hilarious; David Hyde Pierce needs to do more voice over work.
