D&D General Favorite Forgotten Realms products of all time?

For more about places like Neverwinter or areas in the FR, which is better: the 3E books or the 2E books?

Or, what would be the good ones that cover pretty much how the FR ala Baldurs Gate 1-3 and say shown in Neverwinter Nights?

If you want to look at some of the 2E books, WOTC put them up on their website for free years ago and you can still get them from the Wayback machine at the below link.

The three 2e religion sources: Faiths & Avatars; Powers & Pantheons; Demihuman Deities - good information on the religions and festivals and churches and such. Faiths and Pantheons for 3e was too focused on the gods as characters, IMO.

Then I would add the 2e City of Splendors boxed set. Used that sandbox quite a lot.
