Bane is coolest of the evil gods. I also like Helm, or that'd be god of my character.

Umberlee is also nice. (As was her temple in BG2 ;))

I'm going to say Finder, based on one of the old harper books I read a while ago. I still find it funny he had all of *2* clerics who served him, and he had to explain this to one of them....

I like the ones that have gotten lots of plot space in my FR story hour: Cyric, Selune, and Kossuth. Other than Selune, though, I don't play them all that close to "canon" as they are described in the sourcebooks/novels. I haven't read the Cyric novels but I like the way that he's covered in the FRCS and Lords of Darkness (now I just need to work my Spur Lord villain into the next book of the story!).

This isn't FR, but I once ran a game where one player was an extremely minor deity and the other player was his sole cleric and follower. He was the God of Poetry, named Shiny Red-Yellow Jericho ;)

Balsamic Dragon

Lathander. It always seemed easy to work his causes into adventures, I thought.

I have mixed feelings about Bane. He used to be my favorite evil god but somewhere along the line I think he's lost his edge.
