Favorite gods from...

I like a lot of the fictional deities that D&D and other FRPGs have come up with. I am especially drawn to the ones that "accidentally" became deities.

For example: Cayden Cailean from Pathfinder's World of Golarian, or Benekander from D&D's Mystara.

Cayden Cailean is especially fun: "I wandered into the God-Making Maguffin one day while I was in a drunken stupor, somehow survived and wound up a god!" How cool is that!

I've been very fond of the Hyborian triad and have used them on occasion. (Mitra, Ishtar, Set)

The Nordic, Egyptian and Greek have all gotten some use from me. I've been very fond of incorporating Egyptian myth into my games and my prehistory cosmology takes a lot from Nordic myth.

I've snuck the Vishanti in once or twice. (Agamotto, Oshtur, Hoggoth)

The forgotten Realms Lords of Death were a great concept, but I haven't used them yet. (Bane, Bhaal, Myrkul) I really like the Zhentarim as bad guys.

Oddly, I've also started using Bahamut. I've been playing around as to what it might mean when a powerful draconic spirit gains human worship.

The gods from the Scarred Land are great. I love the concept of the 8 major gods having to cooperate, and seeing that impact on the cults and populace.
