The shadowdancer was the first prestige class I ever played, and it's probably still my favorite, not counting classes that I wrote up for my setting myself.

Of course. Specialized characters always win. :) But Chameleon makes the generalist viable, which very few other mechanics can boast.

3.5 is staying open all night for our group so hopefully I'll get to see a few more Prestige Classes cone in to play.

I'm actually really enjoying watching the party's Lasher (3.5-ised) do his stuff. Dual-whip wielding maniacs are fun.

And the Ember Mage is also a hoot. Burning blood? Why yes, don't mind if I do.
