When the Favored Soul class description says, literally, "Divine Magic is intuitive to a Favored Soul, not a matter of careful prayer. This intutive nature leads to a freer interpretation of faith and doctrine...", I figure that Favored Souls are therefore probably not being taught how to interpret religions according to a church's teachings, at least not very often.
