Vlad Martell, our Milandisian fighter, wields a blade known as Grungronazharr. It means "forged of fire" in dwarvish and sure enough, it gives him fire resistance. It recently became empathic due to a wish, and it can even detect traps. He received the blade from Elabac the dwarven master forger of Solanos Mor as thanks for saving him.
Elabac's apprentice, Beldin Soulforge, wields the dwarven axe Bakboga, which translates to "cuts so quickly that it blows out candles." Beldin calls it Windcutter in the common tongue. He received it after remembering his former giant heritage (all dwarves in Arcanis were once giants) and defeating a dozen k'n-yan singlehandedly in the Dreamheart.
A few weapons are named after the people they were taken from. Coombs' Dagger, which literally freezes the blood, was taken by Kham from Michael Coombs, who murdered Kham's father. Bezyli's Dagger, which returned after it was thrown, was given to Ilmare after Captain Bezyli's death in thanks for her help in saving The Shrike's crew.
Kham val'Abebi was possessed by the dreaded Fleshripper, a blade that consumed the souls of those it had slain. Kham eventually broke free of the thing and was blessed with a holy weapon known as Libertas Spiritus, or the Spirit of Freedom. Kham hates that name and renamed the scimitar Talon.
EDIT: Gah, forgot Kham's "ladies"! All his flintlock pistols have names: Jessica, Victoria, Melara, and Alita. Kham's tight-lipped as to where the names came from, although there's a nasty rumor that they're all former lovers who died in horrible ways due to their affiliation with bad-luck-Kham.
