I just picked Greyhawk cause so far it is my favorite DnD3e setting... For far Greyhawk is pretty... iconic I guess... simple and expandable. I like Star Wars, but more for the movies than the game... My second favorite DnD3e setting is OA. :)

I picked Greyhawk, because you left off all the ones that I would have picked otherwise!

Really, my favorite is homebrew, though. I thought recently of making a poll asking homebrewers which setting they borrowed the most from. In fact, I'll go ahead and post that thread here in a sec...

Um, without digging through my boxes, I think it was... august? of last year. Close to then, anyhow.

OA isn't really a campagin setting... the OA book _has_ a campagin setting, but the two aren't quite the same thing.

I am one of the few that will admit I like FR. But my favorite D20 is Ravenloft.

I just wish they would bring back Darksun and Planescape.

I am another who will admit to liking FR, but along the lines of what Joshua mentioned it's more my favorites setting to borrow from then my favorite setting to play in unaltered.

Greyhawk; as the default setting for the core book, the player's all had the basic's of the dieties and such. With the class books adding some bits through prestige classes. Most of my player's don't have the gaz or Living Greyhawk books, but the first stage of the adventure takes them to a place their characters have little to no knowledge about, so it's kind of better that way IMO.

The other reason I picked GH is because it seems less developed (polluted :-) by official sources and gives me the basics of the world without having to delete a lot of stuff I don't like.
