[FDP] Complete Counter Collection

I think so. I haven't used Counter Collection Digital, but I was under the impression that it included an application that let you *lay out* a counter sheet for printing. This would be superior to a PDF copy of a print product because you wouldn't waste ink on a counter you didn't want.

Does this new CD do that?

Thanks again,
GW-

If I understand correctly (I've talked to lots of people who've used CCD2), it's just high-res JPEGs of the images all sorted in folders for easy reference and use, no actual layout software.

The good news is that any layout software would work with them -- Microsoft Publishing, Adobe Pagemaker, CorelDRAW, Illustrator, MS Powerpoint, etc. - to lay out the border square (1" x 1"), insert the JPEG, resize it to 1" size, and then if wanted, insert a white-filled teeny-tiny square in the bottom right corner to complete the picture. :) Heck, even the presentation software in OpenOffice would work beautifully for this package.

The real trial I often find is finding good images to use for the counters; this is why CCD and its sister products are such a good deal to me.

Oh, and James, thanks for the info. It makes my rationalization to score a copy from Drivethru or wherever that much easier... :D

EDIT: Tempation achieved. Downloading it now. ;)

As I understand it (not having actually seen a copy in my own greedy little mitts yet...), the CD in the Complete Collection will work precisely the same way as the Digital collections -- that is, it's simply a disk full of high-res jpg images that you can modify and print off from any software environment you wish.

Cheers,
Scott
