I don't have, never played SW, so all I know about that skill system is what has been talked about on these boards. Judging from that, I would guess that the skills might be similar, but with +3 for Trained and another +3 for Focused. I also wouldn't be too surprised if they added another tier of Incompetent, or something like that. In D&D it makes sense for some characters to not ever be able to make some skill checks. Of course, if you can pick skills in some fashion, each character can make that decision for themselves.
Question: are skills something that are more the focus of the game in SW, or in D&D 3.5?
