I think I'm glad to see Come and Get It changed in such a way that most people will stop whining about it. I guess it depends on how it actually plays.

Subtle (but 'feat tax-ish') fix for strength clerics: They can now trade out their only Wis based feature (Healer's Lore) for a warpriest domain. Now they just need an alternative to Turn Undead aside from Healer's Mercy out of the box and they may be good to go.

Also, am I crazy, or is a Fighter weapon vs. Will power crazy? I know the pull used to be an effect and they lost some damage, but Come and Get It may actually be better now in some fights.

It's a huge nerf and they also nerfed the epic level 1. Force the Battle also got a massive hit with the nerf stick as well. Actually overall I think the fighter has had a bit of a decrease in power with this.

I have to admit that I need to take a moment for some schadenfreude from another discussion earlier about the way the Mage/Wizard swapping works. You need three feats to pick all of them up - albeit getting evocation works nicely I have to admit. They do in fact require the previous feat as well, so a wizard needs at least 3 feats to pinch everything a mage gets (but that was obvious, it was NEVER EVER going to be 1 feat). I couldn't see it being done any other way, but it does indeed mean that I called mages needing 1 feat to get implement mastery (albeit they lose their school)

Come and get it being nerfed is hilarious. Hilarious I tell you. If it shuts up the incessant whining about it though, it will have been worth it.

I can't wait frankly.
I hear ya. I like that rangers are good at killing things. I hate that TS is so good, that every ranger build assumes you take it, and that you are basically nerfing yourself if you don't take it.

My prediction: I bet they slap a -2 penalty on each attack.

What do you think they'll do to it?
