I just got an X2VGA, so I went out and got some cheap Xbox games. So, right now I'm playing Shenmue 2 and Beyond Good and Evil. Liking them both, though I can only take so much of Shenmue's voice acting during a single sitting.

Hand, do you have any suggestions/recommendations for good mods for Freelancer? I didn't even realize they had mods for it until I saw your post. I loved Freelancer and would love to get some extra play out of it, but I was overwhelmed with the number and variety of different mods out there.

I just finished HL2 it was a really good experiance. But it was quick. Just 10 days. Whislt going through ravenholm and some bits before I thought I was going to end up with PTSS, .

Does anyone know where the Substance mod can be found? I have a patch but not mod.... In fact any mod would be cool, or level map.

Beane's Ship pack v2 is another good one
Terrian Empire is just massive and has a number of new systems
Clan Wars another with systems

I recommend the Mod mananger you can find at the lancer reactor.

Offline, of course, I play other games, and as of Christmas my wife and I have added Settlers of Catan to the mix. It's more fun to play with more than two people, but we manage to get a lot of two-player games in.

There's a two player card game version of it out there, IIRC.

I don't doubt it. I've got it on PS2 and I think I've finally found one game that will wear the system out.

I've actually moved onto MGS3, when I've managed to play anything, and I'm trying to figure out how to pay for the LE of Tekken 5 (joystick!), so I can pick that up.

Metal Gear Solid 3

You don't play this so much as watch it, at least in the beginning (I may not be too far into it).

Kojima and company need to play Shenmue 1&2 and have a nice long sit down with Yu Suzuki so he can explain how to make a game with a lot of cut scenes and how to keep the player involved during them (practicing at being a peeking tom doesn't count).

Hmm, never bothered me, but then I couldn't understand what they were saying anyway and had to read the subtitles. Of course I had the DC version.

I desperately want the rest of this series, but unfortunately the first two games didn't sell well enough to warrant it.
