After I finished Dune THe Machine Crusade, I read Mouseferatu's book. Now that I'm done with that I'm going to read One for the Morning Glory by John Barnes.

In addition to that I have to finish my skim of Fiend Folio and finish reading Arcana Unearthed.

I think I might finish a book called Last Samurai, though it has NOTHING to do with the movie. Really. It's a good read for those who have smart kids or know someone who learns extraordinarily fast. Other than that, my Fields O' Blood book of war should be coming any day now... my eyes salvate at the mere thought of the mass combat and kingdom running rules...

Well, Captain Blood was very good. Definitely recommend it if you like naval historical fiction, pirates, or romance (not harlequin style romance, thanks).

Now I'm on to A Nervous Splendor: Vienna 1888-1889 by Frederic Morton.

Just got bored with Stephen King's Hearts in Atlantis and picked up Richard Lee Byers' The Alabaster Staff, the first book of the Rogues series. Then I've got some Donald E. Westlake and Science of Discworld II lined up.

I recently finished I, Lucifer by Glen Duncan. Very Good.
I mean, Creation from the Devil's perspective. I love how he was
able to make Lucifer sympathetic but at the same time keep him
signifantly devilish. By the end it really was able to fool me that
it was going to take the Hollywood Route Ending but it didn't.

Was about half way through Stephen King's Revised The Gunslinger,
book one in The Dark Tower series. It's slow. Paused in my way
through it while readin' F. Scott Fitzgerald' The Great Gatsby for
English class at school. I read about halfway though it last night
(it's much thinner than I'd expected), but I'm finding it a bit dull.
Once again, like with so many classics before it, I understand why
it was so groundbreakin' for it's time, but I've read many books
dealing with the same material that did it better.
