Meh - you can't beat either one with sticks, or kick them hard enough to get a good tome. Although if you bash them against real instruments they do sound purdy. :D

Hey, not all drummers use sticks!

Guitars as percussive instruments:

Those are Planar guitars. You can get them in Sigil for 1500 gp each. There are also cheap imitation versions in the Night Market next to the Githyanki vendor that sells the bootleg DvDs.

The amp though....it must be an artifact. I've never seen such a work of art.

Strings befuddle me, but I wouldn't say no to one of these:

Roland AX-Synth
I currently own the prior generation, the ax-7, which I often play with GarageBand, coupled to my iPad via an iRig MIDI (for portability).
Has the Flock of Seagulls coif turned in to a comb-over yet?:p

I've noticed my kit has grown again the past few years. The six-piece has been augmented with a pair of Decabans, I'm sporting four crash cymbals, two splash, twin hi-hats, and twin Chinas as well as my trusty Ride (Paiste 2002s and Signatures). And that's when I don't add electronic pads. I'm getting back to my 80s self as well.
