Female opinions, please

But I must say, I think my feelings about 4e have little to nothing to do with my plumbing. I've never wanted to be referred to as a "girl gamer" or a "woman gamer" because I like the same stuff all gamers do: killing things with extreme prejudice and taking their stuff.

:D

Have I told you lately that I love you?

Regular Class A
Half-Elf (dilettante, Class B)
Multi-Class Feat(s) (Class C)
Eternal Seeker (Classes D-H

So...you think that its real multiclassing into 3+ classes when you have to choose a particular race (which only gives you a single at-will power), a Multiclass feat that doesn't give you all the abilities of a class (AND preselects which ones you get), and then an Epic Path (requiring PC Lvl 21)?

Heck- Eternal seeker even says in its own text that "you're usually better off learning powers that are compatible with what you already know."

Most respectfully, there are many out there who don't share that opinion, and find 4Ed multiclassing to be sorely lacking in choices. You may not care for it, but the 3.X system granted much more freedom of choice.

And lets leave it at that- there are other threads out there discussing the pros & cons of 4Ed.

So, fellow women gamers, what do you think? And why, if we can talk about it without it turning into an edition war.

I really like the new game. I grew up on 2nd edition with the release of the very first 2E PHB and instantly fell head over heels for f2f gaming. It is a love affair that has been going strong since 1989.

I think 4E is more D&D than than any previous edition. I mean I have respect for the previous editions, but 4E is more streamlined, more fun and a much more energized game. Yes it is a whole new ball of wax, or string in thie case of us felines, but it is fun.
