Feng Shui: The Dragons Reborn OOC (Full)

I'll have to see how my time goes with the games I'm currently participating in, but if I think I can squeeze in another game, I think I'm definitely going to go with a concurrent 2056 game. Reading through Gorilla Warfare just added to the itch I already had; it might be the Jammer's sourcebook, and the Jammers might be based in the Netherworld, but there's plenty of important info on the 2056 juncture that wasn't part of Seed Of the New Flesh.

Oh yeah, I also picked up the Atlas printing of Blood Of the Valiant. Now I have to dig up a copy of Back For Seconds to get the Green and Orange monks (aaaarrrrrgh!). Oh well.

Between completing my Feng Shui collection (something I've been neglecting until now) and all the other games I want to pick up (the Conan RPG, Complete Book of Eldritch Might, Unearthed Arcana, Nobilis, etc. etc.), I might have to start living off of cans of vienna sausages or something.

All right, Mr. Smoke just made us take our strategy discussion to this thread. So, how do you guys plan on taking Two Smiles out?

All we know so far about this guy is that he's good with guns (possibly as good as Jadefinger) and that guns can't hurt him. Any suggestions?

Well, if you can wait a bit, there may be a projectile rather more substantial than bullets coming his way. I'd be impressed if he could do the second-smile trick with a car.

I'm actually trying to decide on how Mao will react to all that wackiness really. It's a valid action movie tactic to decide that you're a bit out matched at the present and go for a tactical retreat. Either that, or he'll fashion a quick molotov out of whatever he can find behind the bar. Or, he might try to let his mouth do the talking. Try to use some charisma skills to good effect.

*shrugs* Just depends on how the next shots go.

:evil grin: I'm wondering if that Camaro can even fit through that door...

As for what I'm planning on doing after the cue-ball stunt, I'm going to try shooting the other MP5K out of Two Smiles's hand, and then I'm going to go back upstairs to check on Mark and let the martial artists handle Two Smiles.

If by some miracle Mark's still alive, I'm calling the mob doctor the Han Bao Triad keeps on tap, since bringing him to a regular hospital is out of the question.

Hey! My Camaro. It is not a projectile. Scratch as it is, I will have to repair it, I dunno if it will be able to stand another fight, at least not one like the last one.

Since I've got the highest Martial Arts AV out of those currently in the bar, I'll attempt to improvise a melee weapon and see how that works. (Oddly, Iron & Silk would be really helpful right now.) Failing that, we have plenty of alcohol on hand; fire is good.

If only MI6 had let me keep my rocket launcher-pen! ;)

Yeah, don't sweat it. I'm not that much of a jerk to sic a monster you have no chance of taking down. He's tough, though. Of course, the cavalry's coming, and if Shinji could actually hit with that nasty little Lightning Fist of his...

Oh yeah, and I'm more firmly on the "Going to start the other game" line of thinking. How's about a 2056 game with the PCs playing an elite TacOps squad sent to wipe out a cell of Jammers sound? I'm thinking of calling it "The Apes of Wrath"...

From what little I understand of what you just said, it sounds like a great idea.
