Assuming the mayor has no further business with him, Troi wanders back to the fields, looking for the tent of the fortune teller he and Daphnie talked to earlier.

*Lasair takes her watch quietly and without complaint, sleeping when it is time to do so.*

 

[Bront]

OOC: Lasair is back by the east fields, hasn't quite gotten to camp yet. We'll see how many people are there when she arives.

Assuming the mayor has no further business with him, Troi wanders back to the fields, looking for the tent of the fortune teller he and Daphnie talked to earlier.

The mayor thanks Troi and the guard escorts him out.

On his way to the west fields, Troi spots a shadowy figure duck behind one of the houses coming from the west fields.

Bingo...

Troi freezes and turns to face where he noticed the figure. He then walks, slowly and cautiously, to the house where he say the figure disappear.

 

[Bront]

Troi quietly heads towards the house, only to find the trail leads to a dead end. It looks as if the foot steps go straight into the side of the house.

 

[GnomeWorks]

Troi looks up to see if the figure climbed the house, then presses against the wall. If neither of those courses of action reveal anything, he takes a good whiff of the air around the footsteps to try to identify the odor.

 

[Bront]

Troi can't see any signs of a climb, and the scent just seems to end right there. The scent is somehow familiar, but it's not something he's payed specific attention to before, so he's unsure from what.

 

[GnomeWorks]

"Well, ya mighta gotten away from me this time," Troi mutters to himself, "but I'm gonna keep my eyes out fer ya, whoever y'are..."

Well, with that sort of hint, I don't think I need to go see the fortune teller again. That smell should be enough... for now.

With that, he heads back to Ingus' caravan.

 

[Bront]

Troi walks back to camp, till he spots something out of the corner of his eye. Closing to examine it, it appears the footprints appear just outside the other side of the house. The smell is the same familiar one he found just moments ago.

Troi shakes his head and smiles slightly, and proceeds to attempt to follow the tracks.
