Festival of Halina: Adventurers Gone Wild! (Orsal Judging)

Troi shakes his head. "Nah, not so much."

Troi tries to take in the air, smelling for something at least vaguely like the smell accompanied by the tracks.

"Were ya sleepin' before we woke ya? Or were ya doin' somethin' else, maybe readin'?"

"I was just falling asleep after reading." she says, the scent of her perfume heavy in the air, though a bit lighter than when you were with her a few days ago. "Sorry if I don't step out more, but my night gown isn't exactly guest worthy clothing" she says, as she sticks a leg out from behind the door to show the sheer material slide lightly along her leg. "Daddy's mad enough at me as it is."

"Ye're wearin' quite a bit a perfume ta be goin' ta bed." Troi says. "An' it's pretty strong, like ya jus' put it on. Ya always put perfume on 'fore ya sleep?"

Troi sighs. "Well, alright, then. Jus' wanted ta come an' check on ya... strange things're afoot, y'know? So since ye're alright, I'll be on my way."

She's got to be lying. But I can't just come out and say that, can I? No, I have to keep up some pretenses, at least, and I already irked the mayor. I'll call this one a lost cause and just keep my eyes on her that much closer... I'll head out to that house and see where the tracks came from. Maybe I can figure something out from that.

Assuming Daphnie has nothing further to add, Troi leaves, and heads for the house where he first saw the figure.

"Good night Troi." Daphnie waves.

Troi is escorted out of the house, and quickly turns to find the place where he first saw the tracks. It looks like a second, fresh set of tracks is heading towards the west field.

"What the..."

Keep it together, Troi. Apparently it's not Daphnie after all. Surprising, I know. Follow the tracks. You can figure this out. You're just missing some pieces of the puzzle, is all...

Troi proceeds to follow the fresh tracks, keeping note of the older set but not following it if it diverges from the fresh set.

The tracks eventualy wind their way back onto a main pathway, and get lost with the rest, but were clearly heading into the west field, towards the Freefolk camp. The smell is quickly overpowered with that of beer, and bonfire, as the Freefolk continue to dance and celebrate with some of the visitors.
