"I s'pose I could go fer a break."

Melinda shrugs "Ya look me up when ye're ready for more hon."

She smiles and dances joins the other girls, as they suround the few remaining men as they dance a teasing and aluring dance.

Troi nods, and watches her go.

Dancing... she used to do that every now and then.

He shakes his head.

Don't think about her now. There's a time and a place for that. Now you've got to figure out what's going on. You should go and tell the others what's going on, the scent and all that. Maybe Oirhandir will have some ideas...

Troi gets up and waves to Rinaldo, then starts heading back to Ingus' caravan.

Lord Valdor and Elise talk a bit, and finaly share a tender kiss before he says good bye to her and heads back to his camp.

Troi heads back to camp, and sees Lord Valdor just entering the south field. He arives, and Elise, Lasair, Fang, and Sunny are already in camp.

Oirhandir hears footsteps coming up from behind him "What happened?" Calls Lord Valdor as he runs to Oirhandir's side.

"Thank the Searcher, he's here", thought Oirhandir, relieved that Valdor had returned to his camp. "Moments after I bade her good-night, two thugs entered your camp and tried to carry Scarlet away", he explained. "'Twas fortunate I heard her scream, they'd covered her face. When I approached them, they dropped her hard upon the ground, her head still smarts from the blow. One of them cut her purse and ran off, the other with him. I called for a chase and attended to her. I believe her to be well, if a bit sore and frightened from the encounter."

Oirhandir had resolved to stay by Scarlet's side until she was safe, but now felt that he had no excuse to shirk his guard duties at Ingus's camp. He still felt a twinge of guilt at the prospect of leaving her for the night, and sought assurances from both Scarlet and Valdor that all would be well.

"Scarlet, are you ok?" Valdor asks.

"I'm... I'm fine, just a light headache. Thanks to Oirhandir." She says, forcing a smile.

"Here, Oirhandir, let's get her to bed."

Valdor helps Oirhandir lift Scarlet up between the two of them, and help her walk over to her tent, where the two lay her gentilly down in bed. She smiles, but soon drifts off to sleep.

"Probably tired from the long day, and the bump will make you tired as well. I'll make sure the camp is on alert, and even take a watch myself tonight. You're welcome to stay and watch too if you'd like, you can stay in my tent."

Oirhandir felt torn between two alternatives. "My heart desires that I should stay", he explained. "But I have responsibilities in Master Ingus's camp as well. And I should alert my companions, they may be of assistance as well. I'll return on the morn, please send for me if I am needed before then." He nodded and took his leave of Valdor's camp.

The elf made a few inquiries to the merchants near Lord Valdor's camp, in hopes that the individuals chasing the abductors had any success. After that, he returned to Ingus's camp, stopping to report the crime to one of the sherrif's men that he encountered along the way.

ooc:[sblock]Let me know if Valdor is reluctant to bid Oirhandir goodnight, or if one of the merchants has anything useful to say, or if either Oirhandir can't find a guard to talk to, or if he can and learns something of interest.[/sblock]
