"That's Melinda. She most likely wants me to dance."
Oh, what a mistake. Oirhandir doubted this would lead anywhere, and patiently waited for Troi to untangle himself from Melinda and her friends.

Troi and Oirhandir are soon surriounded by the dancing women, who smile at Troi and Oirhandir, as they try to draw them into a dance. Some of the observing folk smile and cheer, and soon there is a rythmic clapping coming from the crowd led by Melinda.

Troi soon relents and joins the women, being passed from one to the other, twirling with the women, somewhat awkwardly, but their skill makes up for his lack there of.

One of the woman, a fairly buxum honey haired woman with traces of elven features steps before Oirhandir and tries to pull him into the dance.

Some of the freefolk men and women smile and join in the clapping, including Rinaldo, who is waves to the pair from beside a wagon, while he has words with a freefolk merchant.

Resigned to humoring the FreeFolk in order to get on with the errand, Oirhandir joined into the dancing, attempting as much grace as possible. Without trying to be too obvious about it, he kept an eye on his possessions as he whirled and stepped.

The women continue to trade off with the two men, and indeed all are fine dancers. Oirhandir has a grip on the simple rythem, and is able to keep up generaly better than Troi, and soon learns to expect things instead of react. Several other men try to volunteer to join the dance, but the women seem not to notice, or perhaps simply decline expertly.

Oirhandir does not notice any attempts to grab any items, but is a bit supprised when the dance ends somewhat suddently, and he finds himself and the honey haired woman somewhat intertwined, holding her in in what might be a somewhat compromising position if it were not for the fact that Troi finds Melinda in a similar position, and it was a dance. The crowd cheers and the men whistle, perhaps jealously, but eventualy the crowd gets back to meandering.

"It seems Troi brought one who can dance. Who is this handsome friend of yours that Isabella seems so attached to?" Melidna asks with a smile, or perhaps a sly grin.

The woman in Oirhandir's arm, or Isabella as Melinda refers to her, grins as she slips her hand onto Oirhandir's behind and says "This one's of size, and looks old enough, can I keep him?"

Oirhandir stiffened just a moment when Isabella grasped his behind, but not as much as he had when Hellen had done the same. Perhaps he was just getting used to the customs of a strange land. Besides, he had to play his part well if any good was to come from this encounter.

"You'd better not", he said playfully. Golden-tinged eyes sparkling, he continued, "There is another, and she'd be displeased to find she has a rival. Of course", he went on matter-of-factly, "if someone tries to carry her off again like they did last night, I might have no choice but to settle for your affections."

"And if that didn't bait the hook", he thought, "then I'd best give up this game, and quickly."

Isabella grins "She must be quite a catch to have so many suitors." She pauses for a moment, and gets a bit more serious, steping back from such an intimate embrace "Or was she not willing?"

Troi seems to be trying to talk his way out of more dancing with Melinda.

OOC: Enjoy, I'll be gone from the 24th to the 28th, though I might have some sparing internet acces.
