"Sure he'd feel bad.... but he'd get over it pretty quickly. How permanate is the loss of vhal?"
Oirhandir waited for a moment, expecting Troi to lead on. When he didn't, it slowly dawned on the elf that the ranger had only a vague idea of what he wanted to do, not a specific plan. Oirhandir was surprised by that...it had always seemed to him that Troi was very self-sufficient and able to chart his own course.Bront said:"That seems best. Have ta see if I can pick it up again." Troi says.
"Well, mingling might do us better, if we happen across him, but there's too many people to try to track individualy." He sniffs the air. "And the scent of perfume is heavy in the air."El Jefe said:Oirhandir waited for a moment, expecting Troi to lead on. "Ah, so how would you go about that?", Oirhandir asked after an embarassing pause. "I mean, do you just want to head to the middle of their camp and see if anyone has the scent? Or would it be better to wander around the fringes so not to get overwhelmed by many different scents at once?"
Bront:[sblock]Bear with me, here. This isn't Oirhandir's idea, he doesn't know bupkis about tracking, let alone tracking by scent, and he thinks of Troi as the "leader" of their little band of caravan guards as much as anyone. Oirhandir is going to stick around about as long as he thinks he has something to contribute to this "fishing expedition", and as soon as he thinks he's outlived his usefulness, he's off to Valdor's camp and Scarlet.
Of course, finding out that he has to actually direct the investigation might engage him a bit more than he'd expected.[/sblock]
