That would be an honor all it's own.' "

If you wish, you can give dinner to Oirhandir, who repaired your receipt, or Troi, who took care of the corrupt merchant.' And he kept persisting and persisting and he wouldn't say no, even when he had no cause..."

"So will you continue going to dinners or the wedding when he asks, and he will, despite the illogic of him asking in the first place? How have the rest of your expirences with him bee?. Minus that one confusing encounter."

El Jefe: You're going to have to lead Troi by the nose here. I can't, in all honesty, RP him with the investigation, especialy since that kind of defeats the purpose of the adventure for me to do it.

"That was basically all except when we were attacked by the boar. I may probably continue to go because I was going to eat dinner anyway, and refusing him and then showing up anyway would make him needlessly lose vhal."

"Just as long as you know the over-all reason he acts the way he does, is that he wants to court you" Elise smiles

"That's ridiculous. Everyone knows that it is not proper for men to take the first step in such things--in fact, his initiative is a sign that he......or...is it different in these western lands?"

"You are correct, it is proper for the man to initiate in these lands. Of course, there is a whole long list of proper things that I don't much care for. But that's beside the point. He definitly is intiating, that's what I meant by he likes you"

"Oh dear. I thought that you had meant that he found my conversation enjoyable and wished to add me to his circle of acquaintances...If that is the case, then it is best that I do not continue to attend these dinners, I think. He will still lose vhal if I deny him and attend anyway, and his attempts to initiate already lose him quite enough, the poor man. Plus, I would not want him to think I am...is 'leading him on' the right phrase?"

"Ah, but your in this area now. Here you could decide to go with him to dinners and such for compainionship, even if not for a relationship. One way or the other you may never see him again after the festival."

"Also you do not lose honor if, someone denies you. Maybe if the denied you in a profound, public and horribly insulting way, it would."

"No, I mean he would lose vhal if I told him 'No, I would rather not go to the dinner' and then I went to the dinner but just not with him."
