Elise laughs lightly then stops suddenly unaware if it was a joke or not "Alright, no problem"
"As long as he shows up, I'll be happy. I'd be more worried about what Daphnie thought if I were him." says the Mayor.El Jefe said:"I'll see you back in camp", Oirhandir told Sunny. "I've got to see some people about a few things, help get things ready."Oirhandir rushed off after the mayor, politely pestering him about what was expected of Sunny at the ceremony.
Oirhandir thought that he could advise about a ring, but that he was starting to get out of his depth on the other things. He returned to Sunny, suggesting, "On second thought, why don't you come with me? We can shop for what you need, and we can see if we can get some advice on a few things. Elise, Lasair, maybe you can help, too. Could at least one of you find Daphnie and learn what she's planning for the wedding? It would really help if you could." Seeing that Sunny had been released from his bonds, he beckoned for Sunny and Troi to follow. This way, please...", he said as he motioned for them to follow.Bront said:Sunny ponders out loud "Well, what am I going to do now? I guess I need a ring, probably something nice to wear, and what about the honeymoon?"

More than ever, he needed to rely on Scarlet, and on the women who had helped guard Ingus's wagons on the trip from Orussus.
Oirhandir stopped and turned just before he reached the opening in the tent. "Her mother would be the mayor's wife", he spoke. "Maybe you could follow after him and find out where Daphnie is. She's probably consulting with every woman she knows, mother, aunts, friends, cousins...I think if you offered a helping hand, you'd be welcome, too."LogicsFate said:"I'd love to help anyway that I can, though I don't know if Daphne plans really matter in all this. She seems happy enough but I have a feeling her opinions wont be consulted, does she have a mother?"
Oirhandir sensed he had ruffled some feathers when he hadn't intended to. "As you wish", he replied to Lasair, "But you're welcome to come with us if you'd prefer our company." Then to Elise, he added, "Oh, and Elise, it's not so much that I want to get rid of you as that I think you can do a much better job than I can of, er, determining the plans of the fine women of Covington." Indeed, in Oirhrandir's mind, there was no such thing as a shortage of women to help advise Sunny. He hoped Elise would understand that what he really wanted was an inside source on the wedding plans, but somehow "Go spy on Daphnie and her wedding preparations" struck him as blunt to the point of giving offense, and to several different parties at that. Not to say that the decision to do so wasn't Elise's instead of his in the first place.Rystil Arden said:"I do not think that I will be welcome at the home of the Holdmistress of Covington. I shall wait back with the wagons."
