Festival of Halina (Orsal Judging)

"Unfortunately, the choice of whether or not I am welcome at the home of the Holdmistress is not yours to make. Do not worry for me. I have been ostracised before for far less, and I can handle being alone. I am glad to accept this as the consequence of attempting to protect an ally, and I would gladly do it again."

Now the elf knew he'd been misunderstood. "Oh, no, Lasair, I think you misunderstand. Sunny, Troi and myself are not going to the 'Holdmistress's' house. We need to prepare Sunny for the wedding, and there will be things to buy."

"Oh, I see. I was speaking of Elise's invitation to join her in visiting the Holdmistress. As for purchases for a wedding, I doubt I could be of any useful service to you there, as I am not sure I understand the way the weddings work here...The groom does not wrestle the bride, and then attempt to carry her back to his clan's hold in these lands, I presume?"

"You could always count on Lasair to be full of surprises", the elf thought to himself. "No, I suppose they don't do that here", he replied dryly. "And don't feel that you need to contribute to our shopping expedition, I just wanted you to know that you'd be welcome to accompany us if you'd like", he added.

"Oh, I see. A kind of perambulation practised chiefly for the purpose of socialisation. I suppose that does sound more cheerful than a day alone at the wagons. Thank you. I accept your invitation."

As Oirhandir and Lasair exchange words, Troi leans against the nearest wall and silently shakes his head slightly.

Lasair
"... Thank you. I accept your invitation."

At that, Troi sighs a small sigh of relief. "Alright, then. Let's get goin' already."

Oirhandir led Sunny out of the tent, heading for the south fields. "I have a friend, an elven lady, who may be able to give good advice", he explained as they walked.

OOC: I'm officialy giving you all permition to have Sunny do anything you feel is generaly reasonable in a post if it means you don't have to wait on me for some trivial detail (IE: He'll say yes to a good suggestion, follow if asked to go somewhere, drink if given beer, etc).

Troi:
[sblock]This discussion about the Mayor's family is nagging at you. Something Daphnie said about it seems to escape you at the moment, but perhaps you'll remember it later.

OOC: subtle hint, unless you're intentionaly not mentioning it, and if you have no clue, then it will just nag till you shrug it off :)[/sblock]

Oirhandir led Sunny and the others to Lord Valdor's camp. Once there, he started looking for Scarlet, hoping she'd be able to help.

As the party approaches Lord Valdor's camp, they can see Scarlet folding and hanging clothes. She sees you all and waves with a sweet smile.
