By my count, assuming you can get in about 50-60 miles in a day (5 miles an hour for 10-12 hours is a reasonable pace that you can walk. Anything beyond that is pushing it.), you're not even to the interection of the road going to the south yet. The bridge across the River Roars is probably 5-7 days away, and you're not going that direction. You can change your post (you still likely know a spot). I uploaded the worldmap.
OOC: Ok, that makes sense. Pbartender was letting us get to the bridge across the Roars on the road to Lathirn by noon, and to the old mill on the banks of the Roars about halfway between the Grellgo and Kithisul Lake by nightfall. I was thinking he was being a little generous...

The place I was thinking of is on the road going south to Lathirn, just yards before the Bridge over the River Roars. I presume we'll eventually go that way to get to Covington.

Anyhoo, I updated my prior post to fit. Back to our regularly scheduled adventure...

Fang took up his place in line without complaint. "Middle'sas good as anywhere".

For the rest of the morning Fang kept to himself. He kept an ear to the ground and a single javelin in hand. As he walked he patted it against his side with every forward step of his right leg... tap... tap... tap. And the tapping continued until the caravan pulled over for lunch.

"Short res' I guess" Fang supposed aloud as he removed a stone from his shoe. "Owwwwee... me belly grumblin worse dan a halflin. Waz on d'menu? Trail rations?"

As the group neared the stables on the street that became the road to Fallon, Oirandir called out, "Wait here, I'll make haste", and dashed inside. He returned leading a bay about as tall at the withers as the elf was without his hat, with a small star on it's forehead. "This is Hiriloce", Oirhandir announced. "At least, that's what I've been calling him since my last adventure, and he seems to recognize it as his name." Oirhandir has fastened his staff to the saddle so that it won't chafe either elf or beast, and mounted up. "To Covington!", he called, happy to be with his equine friend again.

Having been this way before, Oirhandir knew of a place not far ahead. "There's a fine clearing on the side of the road up ahead", he called. "There is shade and fresh water from a well there."

OCC: Accept my sincerest apologies for the interruption, Bront...

A gentleman wearing an elaborate tabard bearing the Vaneelkelen coat of arms gallops up on a horse from behind. His horse slides to a stop and pirouettes behind the line of wagons, and after a moment he catches sight of Oihandir. Trotting over to the bard, the messanger hands over a letter, which reads...

Greetings and Compliments from Rupert Vaneelkelen.

A Chest containing the entirety of Your Expedition's Fifty per Cent Share of the Estimated Value of the Goods recovered from the Dragon's Lair found at the High Hill with the Black Stone Tree in the Swamp Lands between the River Roars and the River Gallgo, has been left in the care of Ignatious O'Reilly, and is to be distributed amongst Yourselves as You deem fit...

A Total Sum of 8842 Gold Crowns and 5 Silver Pennies.

The messenger bows and tips his hat with a flourish, before galloping midst a cloud of dust back to Orrusus.

Wow! Your last adventure, Mr. Oirandir, must have been incredible!

OOC Fair enough to just say we rested? Or, were you planning something, Mr.Bront?:uhoh:

OOC: Sorry, went to see Star Wars 3. And no issue PBtender. Oihandir, you can send a message back with the messanger if you wish. Given we're close, I don't see a problem with it.

"Just a quick half hour break, maybe a bit more if the horses need it." Grimel says.

Grimel gets out some rations and water for anyone who wants some. Then, he, Lenny, and Carl water and check the horses to make sure they're ok. After about fourty minutes, everything is put away and everyone is prepaired to go again. "Let's continue, I'd like to make it to the rest spot by the road T" Grimel says.

OOC: If anyone wants to do something durring the rest, they can.

(OOC: Lasair would like to talk to the wagon drivers, trying to get to know them and find out more about them. However, if everyone else is ready to go now, then there is no need to roleplay it out and waste their time for my benefit).

Elise graciously accepts some rations, and sits beneath a tree for some shade

OOc I have no plans for the break, but be willing to give you time...I'll climb a tree, though that doesn't take much time outta game.

Is that irritating at all?(the blacking out of ooc) if it is I'll stop

A messanger riding a fast horse rides into your camp while you are taking a break. He dismounts his horse, and hands Oihandir a note:

Oihandir. Dear friend. Rupert has delivered payment. There is cash here. And more, magical pipes well suited for your talents. Please return quickly, or send word for me to purchase these pipes with your share. I can store them here with Joe until you return. Sincerely, Ignatious.

OOC: Go nuts, you can talk for a bit.

Grimel
"Let's continue, I'd like to make it to the rest spot by the road T."

Troi nods to himself, putting away a small book he had been writing in while the others rested. He returns the book to his bag, and checks his weapons, before looking to Grimel.

"Sounds good ta me." He says, smiling.

OoC: Ready to carry on when everyone else is.
