Elise OOc I have no plans for the break, but be willing to give you time...I'll climb a tree, though that doesn't take much time outta game.

Is that irritating at all?(the blacking out of ooc) if it is I'll stop
OOC: use Sblock. Spoiler works too. I normaly like to do OOCs in SBlocks, but I've been trying to make sure people see them.

Grimel replies "Nah, I usually just assist Ingus with his business. Don't usually drive the cart. We have been around the area though. Ingus does travel for the good bargain, as well as to make the big sale though."

When everyone is ready, the Caravan sets off on the road again.

"Oh, sounds neat--I bet you get to meet a lot of new friends with your job, travelling from village to village and bringing them just what they need!"

(OOC: Ready to go!)

The caravan journies on, and you make some good time. As the day wears on, the sun heads towards the west. Up ahead, those in front spot a major road T. As you get closer, you spot a clearing off to the side of the T with a pre-dug fire pit. Looks like a good place to camp for the evening.

Grimel calls for the caravan to pull over and set up camp while there is some light left. Soon, there is a fire going, and some stew cooking on the pot. Lenny and Karl care for the horses while Grimel cooks. Ingus steps out of his wagon to stretch his legs.

OOC:
[sblock]By the time camp is setup, there is less than half an hour left of light. Feel free to ask any questions, ect. Also let me know if you want to set watches, and what watches you want to set.[/sblock]

"Hmm...I don't know much about caravans, but I had a friend who used to be a bandit, and he told me that they like to set up ambushes at these spots that caravans frequently use."

"I 'member this place." Troi says quietly as he takes a look around. "Stopped here fer th' night when I came up from Lathirn." He looks at the far end of the clearing, and points. "Matter a fac', I slept righ' there."

Lasair
"Hmm...I don't know much about caravans, but I had a friend who used to be a bandit, and he told me that they like to set up ambushes at these spots that caravans frequently use."

Troi shrugs. "Wouldn' surprise me. But I'm guessin' 'at any bandit 'round here is gonna notice th' kinda guards we got, so I'd be su'prised if they tried ta take us on."

"Th' fighter-types should take th' watches. Th' spellcasters need ta rest fer their spells in th' mornin', so they can't really take a watch." Troi ponders a moment. "We'll split th' eight hours - I'm guessin' that's how long we'll rest - inta four two-hour sets. Fang, ya kin see in th' dark, right? So why doncha take th' third watch. Since I kin smell better'n most a ya, I'll take th' second - not as good as bein' able ta see in th' dark, but good enough, y'know? Sunny, how 'bout ya take th' first watch, an' Oirhandir, how 'bout ya do th' last. Sound good?"

OoC: Proposed watch order (4 shifts of 2 hours apiece): Sunny, Troi, Fang, Oirhandir.

Lasair
"I hope so. I'd much rather deter a fight than actually fight it."

Troi nods. "Th' last time I messed aroun' wit' bandits, we only had four guys. I'm thinkin' that wit' our six, we should be able ta 'void trouble... 'course, we might not. Tha's why we put up a watch, y'know? So we're not completely without warnin', er somethin'."
