Festival of Halina (Orsal Judging)

OOC: Allllmost 3rd level. But not quite.

IC: Oirhandir was up with the dawn, and after collecting his 10 crowns from Ingus, he inquired with Grimel as to the status of his mail shirt. Once that matter was resolved, he started making plans for a journey to the south field and a noble's encampment across from an elven scroll merchant.

Overhearing the two women, Oirhandir chimed in: "As soon as I can find out how goes the work on my mail shirt, I was going to go 'exploring' in the south field. Was that where the two of you were going?"

Ingus goes back into his wagon for a moment and emerges with the chain shirt. "Here you go, should fit you just right now." He hands it to Oirhandir.

OOC: I might potentialy have some personal issues that could interfere with my regular GMing for a bit. I'll try to let you know if this is the case, but forgive me if I'm a bit slower on the GMing side of things for a little bit. Also note, that I will be attending Gencon, so will be likely without net access for 5-6 days in the third week of August.

Oirhandir slipped out of his leather armor and tried on the chainmail. An excellent fit! Phineus had been a little stouter than the elf, and Ingus had known just where to take links out and just where to add them in.

"Master Ingus, your craftsmanship is superb", grinned the elf. "I am most pleased!" He handed the dwarf the 15 crowns that they had agreed on for the task.

Gathering up the studded leather armor that he'd worn through all his other adventures on this continent, he handed it to Ingus. "I'd be looking to sell this", Oirhandir ventured. "Do you think you'd be able to help?"

OOC:[sblock]I don't recall that I subtracted the 15 gp when I made all the other adjustments, so I'll do that now. New armor class, too! (First post in thread updated)[/sblock]

"It looks good Oirhandir, are you going to have it engraved?"
"Well, Elise, it's chainmail", explained the elf. "You see, to engrave it, you'd have to make really tiny marks on each little lin..." His voice trailed off as he realized he'd been had.

"Good one!", he smirked, chagrinned to find himself the butt of her joke. "Maybe we can engrave every thread of that pretty outfit you're wearing while we're at it", came his riposte. She'd done that so well...he wouldn't have thought she had it in her to keep her voice so flat while tossing out the bait.
