[FFG] You All Still Around?

Falcon

First Post
FFG is one of my fave two d20 publishers, and I keep waiting for PR snippets, especially regarding Midnight, but I haven't seen anyone around lately. Any updates?

I'm the closest you'll get to someone from FFG that posts to these boards with any regularity, and I'm not even with the company anymore. :)

You should check out January's Game Trade magazine for an exclusive preview of Midnight. Midnight: Against the Shadow has also been announced for an April release I believe.

I'm pretty excited about Midnight, it's possibly my favorite project I've ever worked on. Anyway, I'll be around if you have any questions.

Edit with more Info

As for non-Midnight projects, they are flowing along. The smaller Legends & Lairs books keep on churning, with Galactic Races out for Dragonstar and School of Illusion coming soon. Mike Mearls' excellent book on dungeons, Dungeoncraft, should be out in the next few weeks as well. They've recently hired 3 new staff members, which bodes well for the company, including my replacement Robert Vaughn who I'll be working with on Against the Shadow.

Wil Upchurch? Man, I didn't realize you were the d20 Dwarf:confused:

Cool, Hey I hope all is going well for you, as I was greatly looking forward to working with ya! Ah well, just a project I wasn't meant to be in I guess. Hey if you need some help on projects in the future, drop me a line! E-Mail that is :)

Hi Wil,

And thanks for responding. I have a lot of respect for what you helped develop with the "Path" series, and think the "Monster's Handbook" is fantastic. I have already made a pre-order for Midnight, and since you were one of the developers of the setting, am now looking forward to it even more. :)

Are there any little tid-bits regarding the overall setting and perhaps a teeny-tiny bit about the magic that you can share???:D
