FFG's Horizon line

So many settings, so little time.

The Horizon line is "a new line of d20 mini-games, new one coming out every 2 months, set in a wacky and interesting genre, for quick escapes from your normal D&D existence".

Also in the pipeline is Grimm and Spellsinger. From their rants page:

The next Horizon book is going to be Grimm, a game of kids trapped in a twisted fairy tale world, written by Richard Dakan of Enter the Zombie fame. The first playtest was two nights ago, and it was a blast. In December we'll have Spellslinger, a fantasy western mini-game by our very own multitasking Kevin Wilson, who has some nifty ideas generated already.

So I guess we officially have no more reason to fill up valuable Dungeon pages with Polyhedron?

*ducks and runs for cover*

:D :D :D :D

* throws brick at power word dumb *:p

I actually put in an order for Grimm the other day. At 14.95 i couldn't resist nightmare fairy tales.:D It just struck me as too nuts a game to pass up.:D

using that logic, there's no reason to print adventures in Dungeon either, because other companies sell modules.

on topic, i think i'd be a lot more interested in Redline if it were based on d20 Modern instead of D&D d20.

Redline isn't based on d20 modern?? Sheesh.. although judging by the look of the preview, it looks to be rather tweaked.. I really hope they pull Redline off well. I've been waiting for it for a loooong time :)

Um... D&D and d20 modern are basically the same thing... There should be no reason why publishers can't combine the two SRDs and use them for fantasy modern mixes... I've been DMing a group with characters from both, and while the D&D characters are more powerful at higher levels, the d20 modern characters seem to have the power at lower levels (with the guns).

In any case, I can't WAIT for the Redline books to start cropping up. I've already got the first two preordered.

I just hope we'll still get more Lore and School books.... (hint hint FFG)
