Creature Collection - A Compendium of 4th Edition Monstrous Foes

A compilation of 3rd edition Creature Collection monsters redeveloped for 4th edition. Powerful Wrack Dragons, conniving Ratfolk, and twisted Ghelspadian Gorgons permeate the pages of this manual of monsters - rebuilt for the 4th edition of the worlds most popular roleplaying game. Scarred Lands fans can now re-introduce their favorite monsters back into their 4th edition campaigns.

I just saw this over at rpgnow. And my name is in that previous edition writers list. Woohoo! :) Can you tell me if the hounds include the King's Hound and if the templates include a blessed theocrat? From the table of contents it looks like those would be the only contributions of mine that were possibly translated into 4e for this book.

Wow. This looks great.

Having written a similar monster book earlier this year, I know how tedious, time-consuming, and sometimes downright maddening it is to get all of those 3.5 monsters converted to 4E. Looks like you guys did a bang-up job.

Congrats!

No Blessed Theocrat that I can see. For hounds we have two versions of the Albadian, the Dwarf Hound, a shadow hound (can't recall the name) and the Keffiz.

This monster is by far the biggest FDP book ever, and hopefull it'll live up to its forebearers.

Short review:

Art is pretty much from the original books, I think.
If you are a fan of the setting and its monsters, this book is for you. It is very true to the spirit of the originals.
It seems to cover a wide spectrum of monsters.
I'd recommend it.
